Frances Pickles and Pam Ellis
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. I am undertaking this challenge in memory of my Nan, Fran, and my Great Auntie, Pam. My Nan passed away very recently after developing bowel cancer 2 years ago which was removed but then spread to her lungs and liver and unfortunately progressed very rapidly. My Great Auntie, Pam who we lost a few years ago had breast cancer which she fought off for several years but unfortunately it recurred and this also spread to her lungs and liver. We also have friends and loved ones who have been treated for cancer and have survived. Hopefully we can continue to help more friends and loved ones to fight this disease!

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
