Rona, my lovely mum-in-law, as well as cousins Phil and Jayne
My Story
Cancer has taken several members of our family over the years. My lovely mum-in-law passed away in her early seventies after suffering from myeloma. One of my cousins was diagnosed with bowel cancer; another developed a large lump on his wrist that turned out to be cancerous. Both were only in their early fifties. We've also lost a young aunty and a couple of uncles on my husband's side of the family - all taken long before their time. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
