My Story
Poppy and I have decided to do Race for Life for a couple of reasons. Poppy's Nanna fought and beat cancer for the second time last year, and she wanted to do something to raise money to help rid the world of cancer in the future. I lost a friend to cancer last year, who was very active in fundraising for cancer research and treatment, and will be running in her memory.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
