My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. My mum was the first person I knew personally who had cancer. After a 10 year fight, it finally beat her but her strength and dignity remains a complete inspiration to me. Several years later and there are too many friends; friends of friends; husbands; wives; partners ... who have been affected. Race for life is my small way of trying to make a difference.
