In memory of
my sister who would 've been 40 this year. She was able to complete London in 2017.
Three years ago we lost my younger sister to Bowel Cancer, she and her friends, completed the London route in 2017 with stage 4 cancer and it seems like the right time for me to follow in her foot steps. However due to Covid - 19 My team have had to re-route our walk closer to home but still plan to have as much fun and raise as much money as possible for her. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. CAUSE
Bowel cancer
Over the past 40 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and half of people diagnosed will now survive for at least 10 years. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 43 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
