To help others live longer and families not have to grow up without their "favourite Grandad"

In memory of

Paul Blamires (The best dad-ever!)

My Story

Cancer affects many of us in differing ways, mine is mainly through my father. My dad sadly died four years ago within 11 months of diagnosis at the age of just 62. Hopefully with more and more research going forward, in the future, families will not have to miss out on people being not being there as better treatments and cures will hopefully be found. My dad would find it extremely amusing that I was even attempting to do this!

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
