My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon and raising money for Cancer Research UK by ditching the drink for one month and fundraising for life-saving research. I have two reasons for giving up alcohol. Firstly, my friend Liz, who I taught with in Scotland, has been diagnosed with leukemia for a second time. Secondly, my sister died in November,2018 and she was fortunate enough to be cured of breast cancer at forty and lived for a further 34 years. Please will you support me by donating money to Cancer Research UK. Thank you.

All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
