My Story
As you all know, cancer has played a huge part in my life in the last 18 months, what many of you do not know is that I faced this journey with a family member who was diagnosed just two months before me! Harsh to say the least. I then lost my dear best friend to it recently too, and many years before I lost my grandad too. I know I cannot change what has happened, but, with kind help I would like to know that I have maybe helped save someone else's life or a loved one they have. I too will be adding to this fund as the more we can raise the better. Not only will it go to treatment that can change peoples lives, but it could also go to the amazing staff that look after us, we go though such a life changing experience and one that is frightening too. And for families who can only sit and watch and hold your hand, because there really is nothing more they can do. It is thanks to life saving treatment that others and myself are still here. I challenge everyone to do one thing this year that is amazing and could help change a life, give it a go. This is mine, so here is to a dry January 2020. One day at a time, one change at a time. peace and love to you all Kat and thank you!. .
