Hi everyone! cancer my have tried to destroy me, and it has taken away my grandad and my best friend. But if i can raise just a small amount of money it could help save someone else. #dryjanuary2020

In memory of

My grandad, my best friend, the ones who still fight and the ones who needed to sleep.

As you all know, cancer has played a huge part in my life in the last 18 months, what many of you do not know is that I faced this journey with a family member who was diagnosed just two months before me! Harsh to say the least. I then lost my dear best friend to it recently too, and many years before I lost my grandad too. I know I cannot change what has happened, but, with kind help I would like to know that I have maybe helped save someone else's life or a loved one they have. I too will be adding to this fund as the more we can raise the better. Not only will it go to treatment that can change peoples lives, but it could also go to the amazing staff that look after us, we go though such a life changing experience and one that is frightening too. And for families who can only sit and watch and hold your hand, because there really is nothing more they can do. It is thanks to life saving treatment that others and myself are still here. I challenge everyone to do one thing this year that is amazing and could help change a life, give it a go. This is mine, so here is to a dry January 2020.
One day at a time, one change at a time. peace and love to you all Kat and thank you!.

Dry January 2020, no alcohol all month! this is my challenge, but I would love everyone's help, a little really can go a long way to saving more lives, and maybe even giving some much needed answers to those who have lost loved ones this could fund treatment and research that is desperately needed. Genetic testing helped me deal with my diagnosis, treatment saved my life. There are many different types of cancer, and there are just as many different types of treatment too, but they all come with a high price, but a life should not be one of them. Feel free to look at my fundraising page, there are photos and a short story. more photos will be added, and I too will be adding to the fund. peace and love to you all, thank you, Kat.
