My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. As some of you will know, before being diagnosed with AML myself, I had friends and family members who had been diagnosed with cancer. so I was already raising money for research. This will be my first 5K since my diagnosis/remission. Proud to be doing this as part of my Slimming World Group, the team have helped me loose the steroid treatment weight I put on. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
