My Story
When I was 11, my dad got diagnosed with bowel cancer. Little did we know, this would be the first of his three cancer treatments - and the surgery for the third bout turned our lives upside down. He developed sepsis as a complication after surgery and passed away very suddenly. Fast forward 8 years and I’m finally processing my masked grief through counselling and activities like charity fundraising. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
