My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to be doing the Run 100 Miles challenge this April to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. My big sister Rosalind (Roz) is a beacon of strength and positivity. Recently, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, a battle that no one should ever have to fight. But despite the overwhelming fear and uncertainty, Roz has every reason to be positive thanks to Cancer Research. She has always been a fighter, and now more than ever, she is showing what true courage looks like. Her diagnosis, however, isn’t just a personal challenge – it’s a reminder of the many people, like her, who are affected by this disease. The journey is long, and the road is tough, but thanks to the advancements in cancer research, Roz has access to treatments and care that are saving lives every day. The incredible progress made in cancer research is because of the support from people like you. This is why it’s so important to raise awareness and fundraise for cancer research. Every contribution, big or small, helps continue the development of life-saving treatments and ensures that individuals like Roz can keep fighting. Together, we can make a difference, giving hope and strength to the countless others who need it. That’s why for our shared birthday month of April I wanted to do something every day to challenge myself to remember and remind others just how important the work of Cancer Research is. Please give if you can. Every little helps!
