My Story
Now in its 17th year the Pink Ladies' Tractor Road Run is raising money in aid of the Breast Cancer Research Programme at the CRUK Centre in Cambridge. Every year, on the first Sunday in July, 120 ladies decorate vintage tractors with as much pink as possible. Weather permitting i will be wearing something pink and flamboyant and it has to be a dress again this year. We will drive a 20mile route down country lanes and across farm land in the Harleston area of South Norfolk and hopefully along the way raise masses of funds and spread some good cheer in the community. This will be my 5th year on the Pink Ladies' Tractor Run and I'm going for an ambitious £1000 fundraising target this year which will be incredibly difficult but I may as well aim high. We all know someone who has had cancer. It's very likely that our lives have been affected by cancer in some way. Only through research will better treatments be found which will then improve survival rates. Please can you help me achieve my personal target by donating as much as you are able to. However modest that donation is, it doesn't matter. Many thanks in advance and I look forward to sending you pink updates very soon. Kath xxxx
