Cam and I are taking part in this year’s race for life in memory of Mum/Nanny Sheila and many others
In memory of
Sheila Bayliss
21 years after losing Mum, Cam is helping me once again take part in the Race for Life. It’s the 2nd year that he is taking part with me and we are hoping to beat our time from last year (although if we do I have a feeling he has his sights set on a 10k next year!) As I’m sure everyone is aware, we have lost far too many family and friends to this disease. Although the survival rates are so much better than when I first took part almost 20 years ago, any help that you can give will make a difference as there are still many people diagnosed with it. Message from Cam: We are going to try and do better than last year, well I'm hoping that we can:) We need to try and beat cancer right now otherwise more people will keep on getting it. Let's beat Cancer right now! Thank you for taking the time to visit our page and for the help you have given us - we both really appreciate it. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
