My Story
Four years ago I took part in the Cancer Research Race for Life. Since then 3 close friends and family have tragically died of cancer and several have undergone or are undergoing treatment for it. I have therefore decided to take part in this year's Race for Life with a group of colleagues from the Royal High School Bath, to raise much needed funds for life-saving cancer research to help with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
