I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer.
My Story
Hi All, thanks for coming to my Just Giving page! I am part of the Simarco Ladies Team taking part in this year's 5k Race for Life. I was aiming to run the whole 5k which was a challenge for me having not done any running for years. Unfortunately, due to a hamstring injury back in April I won't be able to run the full 5k :0( so I now aim to complete the race by walking/hobbling/jogging ! I wanted to do something for Cancer Research as Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
