Donating 9 inches of hair
Thu 20 Jun 2019
In memory of
Nicola my beautiful aunt
After wanting to do so for a very long time, I have chosen to donate some of my hair to the Princess Trust a well renown charity who make wigs for young people who lose their hair, however i wish for any donations to go to Cancer Research UK who are incredibly close to my heart having volunteered in a shop previously and because of the fantastic work they achieve daily. 1 in 2 people are diagnosed with cancer, the life saving work Cancer Research achieve needs to be supported. I lost my aunt after battling cancer earlier this year, she had a wig and it gave her confidence to go out and I wish that everyone who struggles can have the option to have a wig should they wish. She was a beautiful soul, incredibly brave and a brilliant mother, as a family we have come together to support and love each other especially my younger cousins all taking part to fundraise in her memory.
