My Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Giving Page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we’re fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! We have been doing running club at SLC for a number of years now, and some of our students wanted to take that activity and turn it into an opportunity to raise money for charity, so we chose to do this Race for Life as a group. There are 28 students and 8 members of staff taking part! Donate to our page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

All Cancer Types

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
