Shine Night Walk Liverpool 10k 2022
Sat 12 Nov 2022 - Sat 12 Nov 2022
My sister Jenny was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2018. She needed 3 operations and radiotherapy at The University Hospital in Coventry where she works. When Jen told me the lump she thought was a cyst was actually cancer I felt like I couldn't breath on the phone. My sister however was so strong and incredible throughout she really is an inspiration to all who know her and she's thankfully clear and very well. In 6 weeks I'm walking 10k at Liverpool to raise some money for cancer. If you'd like to donate I would very much appreciate it as I'm hoping to raise £100. Many thanks and lots of love. 🤗 💕
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
