In my opinion, there is no better cause to run for than a life-changing organisation.
Cancer is still a killer, and it always shocks me how the disease continues to affect my life, and so many of my friends' lives, in many devastating ways. In my mind, if there is something worth fighting for, as well as physically pushing myself for, it is to raise money for the brilliant work that Cancer Research UK are doing to combat the disease. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
