My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives.1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. I have seen many around me tackle cancer, as have many others. My grandmother battled through three different types cancers and surviving to live a long happy life before passing away. However, I know the other side, my next door neighbor was suffering with terminal back cancer and has done for the past year but sadly past away in April this year. This is why I want to help, I know people can survive cancer, I want to see more do so in the coming years. This can only happen with the support of charities and the research that goes into the medicine and treatments. So support me as I try to help!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
