My Story
On the evening of September 24th nine of us (in no particular order: Zara, Sophie, Sarah, Wiktoria, Eva, Pym, Edyta, Jean and myself) will be doing the Shine Night Walk (half a marathon) in aid of Cancer Research UK. Statistics tell us that one in two people will suffer some type of cancer during their life time. Hopefully thanks to the research most of us will be lucky to beat it but still too many are lost each year in the battle with this illness. We would like to ask you to contribute to our fund. We are aiming to raise £2,600 between all of us. It is a big amount but it is so important to keep this life saving research and to keep fighting. Thank you very much for your contribution however big or small, every penny counts!!!!!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
