My Story
Cancer is happening right now, so that's why I'm taking part in Wolverhampton's Race for Life 5k on Sunday, June 12th, to raise money and save lives. I sadly never met my beloved Grandmother, Muriel Joan Hawker, who passed away on July 9th, 1992, aged 69, after a battle with Breast Cancer. Knowing that is the case breaks my heart. Every pound donated makes an incredible difference to Cancer Research UK's extraordinary work, not least knowing that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
