My dad John Miller
My Story
My dad would have been 71 this March. Instead his life ended at 60 and our family's world was never quite the same. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Although I hope more research will help any future families from losing a loved one, I have no doubt that post pandemic this will unfortunately not be the case and more funds will be needed. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
