Karen's Race for Life
Dundee 10k 2019
Sun 16 Jun 2019 - Sun 16 Jun 2019
I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money in memory of my Dad, and fab friend Sandra Storrier, and for Irene my friend who showed cancer two fingers, and will cheer me over the finishing line
I raised a lot of money last year, and I hope I have your support this year too. My Dad meant the absolute world to me, I miss him every day, so anything however small I can do to save anyone else having to go through the horror of losing a loved one to cancer, is worth doing. I think everyone I know has lost someone they love to this horrible disease. My friend Sandra had just retired when she was diagnosed at 68 years old, no time to enjoy life after working so hard when cancer took her a few months later. And my friend Irene continues to fight, an absolute inspiration, amongst the horror that this disease creates. Please donate, I won't let you down on the day, 5km a small way to go for those who lost their fight, and for those who continue to try to beat it. Many thanks, Karen xxx
