I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy with my wonderful friends/family to raise money to beat cancer sooner

In memory of

My mom

24 Oct 1948 - 24 Sep 2017

💕💕 In memory of my wonderful mom 💕💕 Sadly, my mom passed away last September, just 6 days before my first Pretty Muddy 5k. Mom kicked cancer’s ass after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. But just a couple of months after being given the all clear, she was diagnosed with secondary/advanced breast cancer in early 2017. Despite knowing that it could come back, we didn’t expect it to come back so quickly or so aggressively. Everyone will know someone who has been affected by cancer, whether it’s a family member, a friend, a neighbour or work colleague and let me tell you, it’s just f%#*ing horrible, plain & simple - for the people living with it and fighting it everyday, for the families supporting their loved ones through the never ending appointments, treatments, sickness, pain and then for those who are left trying to make sense of the world when their loved one can’t fight anymore! Please, please, please donate whatever you can to help fund the essential research needed to find a cure for this terrible disease. Anything you give will make a difference and 100% of your donation will go straight to Cancer Research (unlike other donation pages). Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
