Karen and friends Race for Life

On 2nd January 2020, we sadly lost our beautiful Maggie at the young age of 60. She was extremely courageous in dealing with her terminal diagnosis, it didn’t become a battle, there was never a negative word from her. Maggie continued smiling, carried on with her work as a teacher, maintained her many many friendships which she had knitted together like parts of a patchwork blanket. Most importantly she found great comfort in ensuring that her two beloved boys were ok in their future ahead. An amazing lady, one in a million. So now, we are knitting together the patchwork friendships that Maggie made and making a huge comforting blanket to help support us all through our loss.
