We’re taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer
In memory of
Maggie Bevan
My Story
On 2nd January 2020, we sadly lost our beautiful Maggie at the young age of 60. She was extremely courageous in dealing with her terminal diagnosis, it didn’t become a battle, there was never a negative word from her. Maggie continued smiling, carried on with her work as a teacher, maintained her many many friendships which she had knitted together like parts of a patchwork blanket. Most importantly she found great comfort in ensuring that her two beloved boys were ok in their future ahead. An amazing lady, one in a million. So now, we are knitting together the patchwork friendships that Maggie made and making a huge comforting blanket to help support us all through our loss. Please help us to raise as much as possible in memory of Maggie and to “kick cancers ass” as I (karen) would say to her, and we would chuckle together. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us now
