Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. Sadly; my lovely Dad lost his battle with cancer 9 years ago, he fought throughout his illness and put up a brave fight. He was the kindest, most loyal and supportive Dad any girl could have. He was a fantastic husband, father, grandad, brother, uncle and friend. He had a great sense of humour and would have been particularly amused at the thought of me participating in this event, I hope I do him proud. Completing this challenge with my daughter and friends will be a personal challenge, but more importantly it will raise funds for such an important cause.
