My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. After losing my Aunty Sue to this horrible disease at the end of 2018 I was then hit by my mum being diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year. To me, this is more than enough to make me want to stand up and do something to raise funds to find a way to get rid of an awful disease that still affects and kills way too many people. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
