My Story
I think most people I know have lost someone they love to cancer, or have been through this horrible disease with someone, it is just an absolute heartbreak. I lost my Dad on 12th December 2016, he was my absolute world, loved him to pieces, and I still miss him every day. When you start to think about it, the list of folks you know who are, or have been affected by cancer just grows. My friend Sandra lost her battle just shortly after she retired, which was devastating for all who knew her. Another dear friend Irene, beat cancer last year, and will see me cross the finish line this year, which is just amazing!!! It seems a small thing to do, taking part in the 5km, but I will be very grateful for every penny I raise. Please sponsor me, Cancer Research needs all the money we can throw at it!! Thank you xxx
