Karen's Race for Life
Oxford 5k 2019
Sun 14 Jul 2019 - Sun 14 Jul 2019
I'm taking part in Race for Life taking inspiration and determination from my daughter who has had cancer twice.
My daughter, Jordan, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma when she was just 17. After 6 months aggressive chemotherapy, she was told that the cancer had gone. However, a few months later, the cancer had returned and Jordan now needed more treatment followed by a stem cell transplant. She had her transplant and has since been in remission. Throughout all of her treatment, Jordan was a true inspiration to us all, continuing with and achieving amazing results in her A-levels. Her determination and courage shone through at all times, even in her lowest moments. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
