My Story
Following my mum’s short but terminal battle with Lung cancer, I have decided to, again, take part in Race for Life, following a few years off. Cancer is happening right now, especially after the pandemic, when signs and symptoms can be put off. I am taking part in a Race for Life 5k this Sunday to raise awareness money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
