My Story
This year, we have decided to take part in not one, but TWO Race for Life events! We are doing this to raise as much money as we can in memory of our dear mother/grandmother, Vera Gaston who recently lost her life to this terrible disease. More research needs to be carried out to beat cancer and every penny helps, so if you are able to make a donation, no matter how big or small, we would really be very grateful for your support. You can catch us at the Solihull 5k on Sunday 17th June and the Pretty Muddy 5k in Cofton Park on Saturday 14th July - please feel free to come and join us, get muddy with us or cheer us on as we cross the finish line! ? Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
