My Story
Last minute sign up for the Cancer Research Half Marathon Shine Night Walk 2022. I now need to get the steps in but it is for a good cause and I know I will have fun with my girls along the way and they will help me get through this challenge 🙏🏾🤞🏾👍🏾. "Cancer" or the "Big C" have been a word and phrase in my life, from a young age. Family and friends have passed away due to cancer. People I know have lost loved ones due to cancer or it has affected their family in some way. I have friends currently fighting the battle against cancer and I wish them well and pray and believe they will get through and live long and happy lives. Finally, it came to my very own household but pleased to say daddy is well, a survivor and in remission. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
