My Story
2008 was one of the toughest years for us. We attended 4 funerals in one year, one for Nigel’s oldest and best friend, who died in horrific circumstances, then two elderly, much loved relatives and finally in November, one of my oldest and dearest friends died of skin cancer after a long battle. To lose a friend at 33 is heartbreaking, and at the time, we took part in a 10k run to raise money for cancer research. It’s now 2018, 10 years on and we still remember her laugh and love of life. I miss Vix everyday, as do all of her friends and family. 2018 has been a year of change for me, and to mark the 10 year anniversary I’m taking part in another 10k cancer research run with some of the same friends. But this time, it’s tough! Please help me to raise some funds to beat this killer disease. Thank you ❤️
