Dad and Barbara
In 2003, 15 years ago, I lost my dad to cancer. It was, as you can imagine, a horrible time and even now it doesn’t really feel real! In 2008, 10 years ago, we lost Jools’ mum, Barbara, to the same thing! In the 5 years since my dad died it seemed like nothing had been achieved to get rid of this horrendous disease. It’s now 2018 and it’s still here, taking our loved ones! In this day and age we should be rid of this foul intruder. In my life HIV AIDS has been discovered and whilst it has taken so many lives, it has been controlled, why not cancer? Anything we can do to raise money to rid the world of cancer or a least get it under control is worth the effort. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
