I’m taking on Fitness February, an epic 28-day exercise challenge for Cancer Research UK. Help me raise money to fund life-saving cancer research by sponsoring me. So those of you who know me will know that I'm not the best of people for eating healthily or having any specific fitness routine.But as no fitness guru or dietician is going to knock on my door any time soon I've decided to take matters in my own hands to get fit and at the same time hopefully raise some much needed funds for Cancer Research.I plan to do something every day in February to achieve this and will post updates and possibly photos but warn you those of a nervous disposition may not want to look at the photos ! I know of course that my family and friends will be behind me 100% and if my taking part in Fitness February raises just a few pounds for cancer research it will be worth it.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
