Kara's Walk 100 Miles Challenge Giving Page

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! As most of you reading this will know, I like walking (maybe a slight understatement)!! Walking is my way of taking a step (pun intended) away from the craziness of life, getting some fresh air, clearing my head and seeing some of this beautiful world! Being out in the countryside and going as far as my legs will take me is my happy place and has helped me enormously when times have been tough. So I have decided to take something I love that has helped me and use it to help others. During October I will be lacing up my walking boots and walking 100 miles throughout the month in support of Cancer Research UK! Now I don't think I need to express the importance of the work this charity does! I know too many of you reading this have been impacted in some way by this horrendous disease. Either like me by seeing loved ones go through what no person should or sadly with your own battle. Therefore I am doing this in memory of the loved ones that have lost their battle, to support the incredible people still fighting theirs and to celebrate the amazing people who kicked cancer's butt! I love and admire you all! ❤️ Thanks to the great work done by charities like Cancer Research UK, 50% of people now survive cancer. However there is still so much to do! Therefore if you can spare anything and donate to life-saving research and help me to keep clocking up the miles it would be hugely appreciated!!
