Kara's Race for Life 10k

Taking part in my first race for Life and have the pleasure of running with the lovely Jojo and Bel. My Nan was diagnosed with a very rare form of Cancer back in 2015. After months of tests, hospital visits, scans and chemotherapy she was able to take a break from it all. However, the Cancer has now taken over and my beautiful and brave Nan is making the most of the time she has left. She doesn't let it get her down, she never will, I guess it's her way of saying "up yours" to cancer. The care she has had from all the services involved has been amazing but the best thing would of been for her never to have had it in the first place or for there to have been a cure...... That's where you can help.... She is the most amazing women and am so proud to call her my nan. I feel that I should follow in her footsteps and be brave... So, my first challenge commences.... 10k may not be far for some, but for me... It's huge.... Really really huge!
