I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer

Our little family had managed to avoid cancer until last summer when my Dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer. It was a hard time for him and our family but thankfully his is a story of fighting and winning. Dad was incredibly lucky that his cancer, although large, was caught and removed. It took some time but he has made a fantastic recovery and is fighting fit again.

Dad’s brush with cancer made me sit up and take notice. I want to do something that will help, so I got off my backside, joined and completed a ‘couch to 5k’ running group, and have enrolled in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5k this September.

I would be so grateful if you would sponsor me to raise money so that other families like ours can have the same chance to spot and treat cancer early. Please give as much as you can - every penny helps and it will make a difference to someone out there.
