My Story
As most of your are aware I recently lost my dad on 17th January 2018. In April 2013 my dad was diagnosed with aggressive mouth cancer resulting in him having to have his jaw bone removed. Due to cancer research we were lucky to have him with us for another 5 years. Even though my dad won his battle with this killer disease he did not pass away from cancer. Whilst my dad was being treated for cancer we were able to understand and appreciate the hard work cancer charities do. He continued to support cancer research, and to continue his legacy is the reason why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
