My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, I joined a challenge to complete 300 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK, before the end of the month. I have already completed the 300 miles (see my gallery or scroll to see my Strava activities) and I will be continuing to ride as many more miles as I can, because I want to raise money for life-saving research and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. This cause is very personal to me, as I am now a carer for my mum who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. This challenge and fundraising is a tribute to her and everybody who has been affected by cancer. Every penny makes a huge difference to vital cancer research so please show your support with a donation to my page.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
