I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner. To help people to stay positive
I was diagnosed with two breast cancers in March 2018. Grade 2 invasive ductal carcinoma intermediate grade DICS and grade 2 invasive lobular carcinoma, left axilla inoperable. I am currently having chemo. Awaiting results on BRCA gene. Depending upon the outcome of these results this can change my current treatment. If all go's to plan, this will be followed by a double mastectomy. I have lost many people in my life to cancer, without naming them all. My mother lost her second battle with breast cancer in 2012 and also my grandad in 2009. So many of us are affected by cancer and i want to contribute to make a change. Not only for my own family but for as many people as possible.
