Jyothi's Walk All Over Cancer Fundraising Page

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. I am Jyothi and I live with a wonderful husband and two lovely sons in Halifax surrounded by great friends having a good life. Unfortunately, last year I was tested for breast cancer, and a biopsy was taken along with all other tests after a lump was found and the whole family was shaken by the uncertainty of the life. Honestly that was one of the worst periods in our lives. Fortunately, all the tests came normal after lots of stress, tears and prayers. We were all relieved and also it became one of the most grateful moment of my life.. But all the panic, tension, fear, pain, worry of going through the process made me understand the suffering of the people and their loved ones, who is going through the disease. And that’s when I decided to contribute something from my side as an offering of gratitude as I am spared. To keep up the promise to myself and to the Universe, I took up this challenge as my contribution from my side, so that people who are suffering can have their most relieved and grateful moment in their lives. I am hopeful, this contribution of yours and mine will make a difference.
