10k, 5k and Pretty Muddy
My Story
The bird family are running the Cardiff race for life in July. Justin is running the 10k, Rhian is running the 5k, Cerys & Caitlin are taking on the Pretty Muddy obstacle course. I've been profoundly affected by Cancer, losing my mother almost 20 years ago. My kids never go the chance to meet their wonderful Nan. Our family have continued to be affected by cancer over the years, this is a charity close to all of our hearts. Cancer continues to affect our family, we all wanted to take on this event and raise some funds for cancer research. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
