About this event: This year would have seen the 15th Louth Run For Life - a big event for my home town. This year’s event has been cancelled but the spirit of the event lives on; everyone is being encouraged to get out and do 5km. Everyone who participates makes a difference and helps to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK. We just need to walk, run or jog our way to complete 5km throughout September. I'm walking the dog and posting pictures of it every day because it seems like fun, and because I have to do it anyway, and because we need Cancer Research UK to have the money.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
