My Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. On the 14/15th May 2022 i will be walking 64 miles (100km) in memory of my cousin Nic who sadly passed away in July 2019 from cancer aged 49. The Charity i have chosen to fund raise for is Cancer Research UK as the fight continues to find a cure and new treatments for this awful disease. This will be my second time doing this challenge. In 2018 i completed the walk fundraising for another charity in a time of around 33 hours. The route is very challenging and brutal on the body. I feel the need to challenge myself again and hopefully complete the walk a bit quicker knowing that the challenge Nic and so many others face fighting cancer is far more tougher than walking for a few hours. I have a target of £300.00 to raise so please consider sponsoring me, i would love to be able to make Nic proud and help others along the way in the battle against cancer. Nic was a massive Bristol City fan a season ticket holder for many years and on the walk i intend to wear a City shirt or two as i to am a fan and have many memories of being at Ashton gate with Nic and other family members going right back to the early 1980's. Lets hope i can make Nic and her beloved Bristol City proud. Come on you reds !
