Juliet Running for Rachael
London - Crystal Palace 5k 2019
I’m running for Rachel and everyone who has survived Cancer! Rach is my daughter in law and she gave birth to my first grandchild a year ago. 3 months ago she asked if I would take part in a Race for Life with her. I said yes of course but I had no idea of her motivation for doing this until about 3 weeks ago. I was shocked, when as the date approached for our rac e, when she told me that she had breast cancer when she was 19 years old. I’ve participated in similar events for Cancer Research as I’ve known so many people who have been touched by it. I know it’s only a 5k, but your donation will help this magnificent charity do even more research into this disease. I remember back in the 70s and 80s we wouldn’t even say the word it was usually referenced as The Big C...oh how things have changed. I know lots of people now living with Cancer today. Let’s help a few more. Thank you for reading my story and thank you for your donation and support . Jules x
