Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Both Neil and I have had relatives, friends and work colleagues diagnosed with this awful disease over the last couple of years. We have therefore decided that this March we will be walking 10,000 steps a day each throughout the month to help beat cancer (and trying to lose weight/get fit at the same time!). Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
