My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Two years ago in March I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Yes 10,000 steps a day for 31 days! I know that there are so many worthy charities out there and I do not assume donations (but if you do that would be great!), To be honest I am also doing this for myself as part of the getting back to a new normal. If I can also keep awareness raised at the same time all the better. Cancer can strike anyone at anytime as me and my family have experienced. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
