Sophie's Try It Triathlon
I'm taking on Cancer Research UK's Try It Triathlon because my Mum is having treatment for breast cancer. Please help me!
This October, I’ll be swimming, cycling and running the distance of a triathlon to raise money for Cancer Research UK. My Mum is currently having treatment for breast cancer and, seeing as I am only 10 years old, it has made a huge difference to my life. For example, I used to go swimming for fun with my Mum but we haven't been able to go for several months because of her treatment. We also used to do the Parkrun together but again, treatment is stopping us from doing it right now. I love to go swimming whenever possible, I've done various 5k and 3k runs and I go cycling with my Dad whenever we can. So the Try it Triathlon seemed like the perfect challenge for me! Please show your support and help me raise life saving funds by sponsoring me. Every pound makes a huge difference into beating cancer sooner and into making my life that little bit better by stopping my Mum's cancer from coming back.
